Club Standards & Promises

We take our role as a community club very seriously and believe that our role within our community is to provide opportunities to all children who want to take the step to play sport and get involved with a football club, regardless of background or experience. Every player will be offered a place to train and play within Doveridge FC and where there is an appetite to play games, we will responsibly ensure that every child is made ready for that step into the competitive element of the game. 

 We have all seen it happen and some of us may have experienced it, being bought along to a match day, sometimes 30-60mins away from where we are based, only to play the final 5/10mins, if we are lucky to play at all. Doveridge as a club doesn't believe in this and believes in every player being registered to a team and bought to a match day being given a good amount of time to show off what they can do and get the opportunities to compete competitively. That is why when your son or daughter plays for Doveridge FC and comes to a game to play, they are guaranteed as a minimum 25% of the match time so that they get to take part, compete and do so in a way where they can be taught without potentially being overwhelmed.
